Banal question? And you try to answer! Can anyone answer and explain to me what love is? Simple or difficult?

So - love: everyone craves it, everyone seeks it, everyone seeks to find, and having found it, keep it. Love is all around us, literally in the air, but ... how many really understand what love is? Philosophers, writers, poets, scientists - for many centuries, since ancient times they have been talking about love, trying to explain what love is. Have anyone ever truly loved?

1) Love is something extraterrestrial, created in heaven, inexplicable, beautiful magical feeling, a blessing that seems to descend on us from heaven by some inexplicable command;

2) Love is an easily explainable phenomenon and is only a tool of nature to connect two people, create a temporary strong union, with the sole purpose of creating offspring.

What all you think love is and does it even exist? Something unearthly, a miracle, or nothing more than an instrument?

So can anyone once and for all explain to me what love is?
