Children make up approximately 20-25% of the population in each country. In different countries, they are exposed to different dangers from which they need to be protected: in developed countries, these are the negative consequences of addiction to television and computers (serious studies have shown that children tend to copy in life those violent actions that they see on the screen or during computer games), in Western Europe they are concerned about the too early sexual development of children, in Japan the main danger is seen in the destruction of traditional methods of upbringing and the increasingly widespread penetration of Western habits and forms of behavior, in the least developed countries of Africa and Asia, children are threatened by hunger, AIDS, illiteracy and the military conflicts.

The very word holiday is associated with joy, fun, happiness. And, indeed, for many kids, June 1 in 2019 will be unforgettable.

But this holiday also has a downside, which is perhaps much more important than the idea of fun itself. The main goal of Children's Day is to draw the attention of the public and ordinary people to real children's problems. This idea is directly present in the name of the holiday. Therefore, it is important to think about what children should be protected from.

Children are our future, take care of children
