What is a magnetic storm?
Astrophysicists call a magnetic (geomagnetic) storm one of the types of geomagnetic activity. Storms occur when disturbed streams of the solar wind enter the vicinity of the Earth. When they interact with the planet's magnetosphere, a magnetic storm occurs.
Scientists say that a geomagnetic storm can last from several hours to several days in a row. First of all, meteosensitive people suffer from such blows. During these periods, pressure can jump, the heart rhythm is disturbed, old wounds begin to ache. In addition, there may be problems with sleep, mood swings, and so on. Doctors say that during the period of strong magnetic storms, the head can hurt even in healthy people. Unreasonable fatigue, irritability and even loss of energy may occur.
Experts advise avoiding overexertion, both physical and emotional, these days.
Walking in the fresh air is useful - in the forest, near the river, moderate physical activity. Avoid stress by taking a contrast shower in the morning and a warm bath in the evening.
