This important holiday was born more than 100 years ago in the United States. Mrs. Dodd of Spokane suggested creating a separate holiday for men who take care of their children. In this way, she wanted to express her gratitude to her father, who raised six children after the death of his wife. The idea was approved first in one state, then picked up by other states, and then other countries.

It is worth noting that Father's Day is not always celebrated on the same day. There are countries where fathers are honored in the fall, and there are permanent dates – June 20 or 21. And then there is World Fathers ' Day-it is celebrated on the third Sunday in September.

The purpose of this project is to create and develop conditions for strengthening families and recognizing the role of fathers in the educational process. This holiday is also aimed at popularizing the family lifestyle, creating full families and forming the responsibility of fathers for the lives of their children.
