I used to feel this way for many months until I made the decision that I was going to take steps to feel better. Here is what I did and it may help you: I stay very busy. I will read for about thirty minutes, then do housecleaning for thirty minutes, then exercise for thirty minutes, etc. all night long until it is my bedtime. In the morning? It’s a whole new day and I have a better perspective on life:-) The key to overcoming our depression, seriously, is in pushing ourselves to stay busy even though we just feel like laying on the couch staring at the ceiling:-) The very thing we avoid when we are feeling depressed (activity) is the thing that we must push ourselves most to do:-) Also, go mingle at the mall or read magazines at the nearest drug store (since they are usually open 24 hours). I also joined a gym that is open 24 hours. But, yes, I can definitely, definitely relate as I am single and oftentimes feel lonely. My pets help me quite a bit also:-) Hope this helps you some:-)
