Woman

When you wake up in the morning, you look at her, lying beside you, and you can’t believe your luck.
When she wakes up, you kiss her.
When you’re about to surrender to the arms of Hypnos or Morpheus, you look at her, lying beside you, and you can’t believe your luck.
When she goes to sleep, you kiss her.
She has fascinated, inspired man for centuries, and will continue to do so.
Poems, music, songs, drawings, paintings, sculptures, photos, movies, among others.
She's mysterious.
She’s about fifty percent of the world.
She’s intelligence, sensitivity, sweetness, beauty, femininity, elegance, refinement, sexiness, attractiveness.
She’s also goodness, humility, simplicity, honesty, respect, care and love, loyalty/faithfulness, family orientation (valuing children, education, healthcare, family life), communication, consideration, understanding, humanity/humanness, ethics, reflection, support, determination, merit, hard study/work, responsibility, trustworthiness, playfulness, self-actualization.
She’s also poetry, romance.
She’s also tease, temptation, Eve, Aphrodite, Venus.
She’s also crazy, hot, intense, passionate, wild sex, lovemaking.
She sometimes goes by this name, sometimes, by that other one.
She sometimes has this hairstyle, sometimes, that other one.
But she’s always sweetheart.
You’ll never enough of one life to go around her.
She can bring the best out of you.
She can also bring the worst out of you, however.
She can also make you know Hell.
It’s pretty much up to you to make sure you go for the best, not for the worst.
“'A woman is like a flower that blooms in the morning and withers away in the evening'
This delightful phrase comes from the time-honoured notion that a woman exists primarily for her beauty (wrong, in my humble opinion (as for primarily)).
The phrase was lifted from Psalms (Psalm 90:6) in the Bible and has been fashioned to apply to women:
“In the morning it springs up new, but by evening it is dry and withered.”
It is not literally about the morning and evening of one day. It’s about the morning of life, youth, and the evening of life, old age, when a woman is generally considered to have lost her beauty (withered away).”
From Savita Brandt , British psychotherapist, author and editor (on the site Quora)
“Each woman is like an instrument, waiting to be learned, loved, and finely played, to have at last her own true music made.”
― Patrick Rothfuss, The Wise Man's Fear
You want her to be a lady, and you, a gentleman.

Translated lyrics

Sometimes so sweet
When life touches me
As all of us
Then, so sweet
Sometimes so hard
That every wound
A long time lasts me
A long time lasts me

Women
I love you
Women
I love you
I don't know any easy ones
I only know fragile ones
And difficult
Yes, difficult

Sometimes so funny
On the corner of a shoulder
Oh yes, so funny
Touching gaze
Sometimes so lonely
Sometimes they want it
Yes but so alone
Yes but so alone

Women
I love you
Women
I love you
You are my mother, I look like you
And all together my child
My impatience
And my suffering
Women
I love you
Women
I love you
If sometimes these words tear
It’s that I dare not tell you
I desire you
Or even worse
O Women

- Shawn Phillips – Woman Feb 17, 2008 ShawnPhillipsDVD

The glow
Around your face
When you see
The lightning race
I know
I'm very near
And I can hear
The thunder
A woman
Of perplexity
A woman
For eternity
A woman
Of the land
A woman
For a man
I'm down
On my knees
And I'm saying
Please believe me
It's hard
To fall out
Of love
Completely
It's harder
To find a way
To come back
Discreetly
To speak
Of things anew
To weep
In quiet blue
Brocade
Upon your bed
Memories should fade
At least of you
A sceptre
Of ice and fire
A spectre
Of my desire
A girl-child
Of such loveliness
The woman
Of my emptiness
A woman
Of famed renown
A woman
Who kicks the clown
A woman
Of the land
A woman
For a man

- Paul McCartney - My Love Jan 28, 2010 Sofie Hellberg

And when I go away
I know my heart can stay with my love
It's understood
It's in the hands of my love
And my love does it good
Whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa, whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa
My love does it good

And when the cupboard's bare
I'll still find something there with my love
It's understood
It's everywhere with my love
And my love does it good
Whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa, whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa
My love does it good

Whoa-whoa, I love, oh-whoa, my love
Only my love holds the other key to me
Oh-whoa, my love, oh-oh, my love
Only my love does it good to me
Whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa, whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa
My love does it good

Don't ever ask me why
I never say goodbye to my love
It's understood
It's everywhere with my love
And my love does it good
Whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa, whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa
My love does it good
Whoa-whoa, I love, oh-whoa, my love
Only my love does it good to me
Whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa

- Leonard Cohen - I'm Your Man Apr 11, 2011 Makiaveliko85

If you want a lover
I'll do anything you ask me to
And if you want another kind of love
I'll wear a mask for you
If you want a partner, take my hand, or
If you want to strike me down in anger
Here I stand
I'm your man

If you want a boxer
I will step into the ring for you
And if you want a doctor
I'll examine every inch of you
If you want a driver, climb inside
Or if you want to take me for a ride
You know you can
I'm your man

Ah, the moon's too bright
The chain's too tight
The beast won't go to sleep
I've been running through
These promises to you
That I made and I could not keep

Ah, but a man never got a woman back
Not by begging on his knees
Or I'd crawl to you baby
And I'd fall at your feet
And I'd howl at your beauty
Like a dog in heat
And I'd claw at your heart
And I'd tear at your sheet
I'd say please, please
I'm your man

And if you've got to sleep a moment on the road
I will steer for you
And if you want to work the street alone
I'll disappear for you
If you want a father for your child
Or only want to walk with me a while
Across the sand
I'm your man

If you want a lover
I'll do anything that you ask me to
And if you want another kind of love
I'll wear a mask for you
