Hillier Lake (Australia)

In fact, the colorful mountain ranges of Zhangye Danxia are an absolute reality. The ridges appeared about 70 million years ago due to colossal tectonic changes. After all, before the appearance of the mountains, that is, about 100 million years ago, there was a gigantic reservoir here. Intensive evaporation of it led to complete drying, and the gradually exposed bottom was oxidized as it came into contact with the air, which eventually gave an amazing color scheme that surprises and delights people so much.

The Enchanted Well (Brazil)
This fantastic place impresses with a combination of the majestic beauty of the stones and the harmony of the water surface. The enchanted lake is hidden in a grotto at a depth of 80 m. At the bottom of the reservoir, you can see the remains of fossil trees. When the sun's rays penetrate into the cave, then, as if by magic, the well is filled with a gentle blue glow, and the azure fills the entire space. However, you can not swim here.

Skaftafetl (Iceland)
The phantasmagoric cave impresses with its shining luxury and gentle blue of its ice walls. The vaults of an extremely unusual natural formation are colored with light swirls and corpuscles, bizarre iridescences and refractions,and all this makes the heart stop. This poetic natural wonder is explained by science in a rather prosaic way: a gigantic glacier has been accumulating rain water for a long time. Here its streams turned into enchanting pictures as they froze. There are no air bubbles in the ice blocks, which would give the walls a shade of more realistic whiteness. That's why the bright azure reigns here.
