Some information about the most interesting exoplanets:
Proxima B - A planet called Proxima B was discovered in August 2016. It does not revolve around the sun, but around another star, a red dwarf called Proxima Centauri. Red dwarfs perform functions similar to the sun, illuminating and warming planets. Proxima B is about 40 percent larger than our earth, most of the planet is also covered by the ocean, a year on an exoplanet lasts only 11 days. But the recently discovered planet also has its drawbacks, it is very dark, light almost does not penetrate to the surface. Hurricane winds and they are much stronger than earthly storms.
Kepler-62 F - This planet is billions of years old, but scientists only discovered it in 2013. In the process of collecting data on the new planet, experts were surprised to find that it is very similar to our Earth, however, this Kepler is much farther from the sun and many regions on it are covered with ice. However, thanks to the large amount of fresh water, people are quite capable of living on this exoplanet and not only people, perhaps the planet is already inhabited by aliens. Today, the conditions of life on this planet are very similar to those on Earth during the ice age.
Kepler 22 B - And this planet is 587 light years away, but close enough to the sun to be considered a potentially habitable exoplanet, scientists first discovered Kepler 22 B in the second half of 2011. They managed to find out that this Kepler is much colder than the Earth and is much farther from the sun than we are, but it is twice the size of our planet. The average daytime temperature on the planet is about - 30 degrees Celsius. A year on the planet Kepler lasts not 365 days like ours, but 290, because it takes less time to turn in its orbit around the sun. If we all decide to move to this Kepler, then we will have a chance to get rich, a significant percentage of the planet's resources are various gases, but like on our earth, most of the planet's surface is covered with water, so to accommodate a large number of people, it may be necessary to build artificial islands. However, some experts suspect that intelligent creatures already live on Kepler, they can hide from the eyes in the water column. We do not yet know how much Kepler 22 B weighs, but if this planet really resembles ours, then local gravity is a problem for earthlings, it is 2.4 times more than our usual value. This means that a spacesuit weighing 90 kilograms will weigh 216 kilograms here and a person will not be able to move around in it. However, some scientists believe that Kepler 22 B is not similar to Earth, but to a thawed Neptune. For a planet of the terrestrial type, it is still too large. If such assumptions are correct, then Kepler 22 B is one continuous ocean, with a small solid core in the middle, a giant boundless water space under a thick layer of atmospheric gases, which, however, does not negate the planet's viability. According to experts, the existence of life forms in the planetary ocean is not beyond the realm of possibility.
