You might have heard this saying “the path to a man’s heart is through his stomach”. I have often wondered whether it’s true. I personally have seen many men who like a good meal of course and love it especially when their woman makes it for them. But, I also know many men are great cooks themselves. Maybe some even better at cooking than their female partners!

Where did this saying come from? Well, it was from the times when men always worked all day while their wives stayed at home. So, when the man got home after a very long day of work, having a delicious dinner waiting for him was of course a very desirable quality in a wife.

But I think that times have changed now. Most men I know can cook perfectly well themselves. Then what is the path to a man’s heart, in this case?

I think it’s through the man’s mind. If you manage to interest him, challenge him and attract him, if he thinks about you often, you are implanted in his mind, and also in his heart. Of course, this requires a bit more than just decent cooking skills – loyalty, supportiveness, openness, respect for your man. Taking a keen interest in his life and his personality.
