My favorite dish

Probably in childhood everything seems so tasty and interesting, festive and memorable. But I think that my love for this product lies in my grandmother's ability to cook it very tasty. I don’t know all the secrets of cooking, but food cooked in a Russian stove and from our own fresh vegetables will forever remain for me the standard of tasty and healthy food. The amazing atmosphere of lunchtime, when tired relatives sat down at the table, having managed to work in the field or garden from early morning, their leisurely and kind conversations about the weather and harvest, made the meal some interesting action that was not understandable to a city dweller. Grandmother put a large frying pan of potatoes on the table, which gave off a wonderful smell of tarry wood from the stove and vegetable oil. Everyone was poured fresh milk and offered fresh cucumbers and greens - dill, parsley and green onions. I could eat this kind of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and it never bothered me.

Of course, fried potatoes, simply cooked on the stove, are not so fragrant and tasty, but I still love this simple food very much. How many people were saved from hunger in difficult times by this simple product, it is not without reason that it is called our second bread. Therefore, we must respect the work of field growers and grain growers, take good care of the crop they have grown and appreciate the opportunity to have tasty and healthy food on the table.

Every person in every area of life has their own preferences and passions. Likewise, in the choice of food, everyone has their own favorite or not so products and ready-made meals. Throughout life, a person's taste can change, and the food that you liked in childhood no longer causes such taste attachments. Almost all children love sweets, ice cream and cakes, candy and soda. Adults like spicy meat or fish dishes. But there are foods that almost everyone, without exception, likes, these are fruits and berries: apples and bananas, watermelons and strawberries, blueberries and pears.

And what is your favorite dish?
