Hi to everyone!! There are lots things I would discuss but there is one that I have know absolutelly a little about. Halloween.
Well, I know that everyone is wearing nice costumes and gathering to go for Trick-or-treating. That is what I know from the movies haha! I had to read some about where did the Halloween celebration come from. So! It has began 2000 years ago, when Celtic tribes lived in what is now England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland and Northern France. It used to be called “All Hallows Even” before Halloween and one of the most recognizable attributes of this holiday is Pumpkin lantern used to be turnip according to the legend. So much has changed since 2000 years passed. But the main tradition is still being on hearing. I'm telling about decoration of the house and yard with various cobwebs, pumpkins, lanterns, scarecrow... I am sure that lots of people like this holiday and so sad that in Ukraine we don't usually celebrate it as it should be! I would be so happy to see thr truly Halloween!!
