“If the desire is not fulfilled,
then you asked too little! "- so wrote the preacher Warren Wattles. And he explained his first thought with an example. The devout young man prayed fervently for the deal to take place. But it didn’t happen! Nothing happened, the partner refused the deal. The young man did not lose courage and continued to work. After a short time, he made a much better deal, which marked the beginning of his wealth. Accidentally and suddenly it happened. The first deal, had it been successful, would have deprived him of the second, better opportunity ...

Or a poor man asked for a rug and a small charcoal stove to heat his closet. He had such modest requests, but he received neither a rug nor a stove. Then he was just able to move to a beautiful house, which he built with the money he earned. And I bought other carpets, and I became a gorgeous steam heating, like that!

What an interesting thought. Maybe we're asking too little, really? Is that why we don't get anything sometimes?

Even in the most tragic case, this happens. A person asks for the healing of a loved one, but he dies. Maybe Preacher Wattles was right, even though he was accused of heresy. Maybe a person passes into another, happy world, where there is joy and peace, where there is a beautiful garden and divine music sounds? We are not allowed to know this. We only know that our wish did not come true.

But it was just that we were asking too little, Wattles thought so. And the best lies ahead. Much better. It’s even good that we didn’t get a coal stove for heating the closet. This means that we will have a bright and warm house, that's all ...

Interesting idea. And it often happens, according to my observations.
