Cleansing
Men's skin is denser and coarser than women's. It has more sebaceous glands, which cause increased sweating and clogged pores, resulting in inflammation and blackheads on the skin. This is why it is important to cleanse your skin on a regular basis. You should not wash your face with ordinary face soap: it will only dry out your skin and add extra problems with it. Wash your face once a day with cool or lukewarm water: hot water will dry your skin a lot. After washing your face, blot gently, but do not rub your face with a towel.
Exfoliation
In simple words, the stage of exfoliation, or peeling of the skin, is needed in order to clear the clogged pores in which dirt, dust and sebum accumulate, remove the stratum corneum and make the skin soft. Peelings should be done 1-2 times a week (more often not worth it) after washing. To effectively exfoliate your skin, use light scrubs or acid-based cosmetics. After exfoliation, proceed to the toning phase.
Toning
Toning improves blood microcirculation and makes men's skin fresher, smoother and more elastic. With toning, everything is simple: after washing with foam or gel, moisten a cotton pad with tonic or lotion for sensitive skin and wipe your face with it. Choose a product without alcohol (the composition should not contain the inscription Alcohol). You can use a soothing aftershave instead of toner. Wipe the skin 2 times a day - in the morning and in the evening.
Moisturizing
Any skin, even oily, needs hydration. The drier your skin, the more nourishing the cream should be. And vice versa, the more oily, the lighter and more liquid in consistency it should be. A moisturizer helps keep the skin elastic, soft, and relieves flaking and tightness. Choose one good moisturizer that suits your skin type and use it once a day (if dry skin, two) after toning your skin and each after shaving. Remember to also apply the cream to the skin around the eyes.
To complete these steps, you only need 4 tools:

- Foam or gel for washing;
-Tonic (after shave lotion);
-Moisturizing face cream;
-Mild face scrub.
