This holiday for our family is a symbol of strength and strengthening of our relationship.
The streets of the city are crowded with people, all of them are preparing for the New Year. They buy gifts for close and dearest people. They are in a hurry to visit grandparents, to please them with their presence. And also, it is so nice to watch the children outside the window, who spend their time playing snowballs, sledding, and not sitting at home at the computer.
On the eve of the holiday, we decorate the most important culprit - the New Year tree. It shines with bright lights, and each toy reflects the light in the window. This creates a romantic atmosphere of a family idyll. Mom and I spend almost the whole day in the kitchen, preparing the most delicious dishes for the New Year's table. And when the time comes and the chimes strike the clock, we all together make a wish, which, undoubtedly, must come true.
The house has a pleasant holiday atmosphere. The fresh scent of spruce, combined with the exquisite scent of citrus. Mandarins are an essential attribute of the New Year.
On the street, the whole earth is covered with a snow-white "blanket" of winter. The shine of street lamps creates an indescribable shine of snow drifts. The glitter of snowflakes, floating easily in the air, is more beautiful than diamonds in the world. That's why I love this season.
The winter holidays are the richest and brightest, despite the cold cold outside. True, they pass very quickly, but New Year's Eve always remains in the memories, enchanting with its mystery and magic.
