Traditionally, New Year's holidays are a time of miracles. Not even the miracles themselves, but their expectations. When it seems that a strong desire will definitely come true. And this anticipation makes people happier. And it makes you wait for this holiday. And this expectation of a miracle or a fairy tale gives strength to live on, demolish obstacles and achieve what you want. And the way it works is simple: the expectation of something pleasant, happy makes the brain produce dopamine. And it is a neurotransmitter that supports and stimulates motivation and propels us towards our goals. The brain likes this state very much, and it seeks to keep it as long as possible, creating a reality around us, which provokes this state. In other words, happiness comes to the happy, money sticks to the rich, confident in their own health and well-being - it never occurs to the head to get sick.
Basically, the New Year is just an excuse. Miracles happen every day and you just need to learn to believe them.
The belief in a miracle in this corridor of time has become a tradition for more than two thousand years, overgrown with a ritual part and creates a mood. We may be aware of this, we may not, but the collective unconscious has formed a certain оrion in a couple of thousand years, which makes everyone together and each individually believe in miracles, wait for miracles, rejoice in them and anticipate them.
Therefore, in the New Year, happy changes await both those who believe and those who do not believe, and those who are ready to accept miracles, and those who resist them.
The world still leaves a loophole for itself to make us happy, at least in the New Year :)
