As a child, like many Soviet children, I traditionally traveled with my parents to the Black Sea for a month in the summer.
Then, as an adult, I began to travel more often. With friends, we toured the Baltic States, the Caucasus, Moldova, Ukraine, the Carpathians, Belarus. We left for a month - we traveled for two weeks, lived at sea for two weeks. On the way, we stopped at campsites, cooked on a primus stove.
The most valuable wedding present for me was the Taimen kayak. On a honeymoon trip, my husband and I went on a water trip along the Latvian river Gauja.
After college, travel entered my life for many years. All vacations and holidays I spent traveling. In winter - mountain skiing, on May holidays - rock climbing in Crimea, in summer - climbing.
