People have almost always been brought up in the spirit of overcoming endless difficulties. Since childhood they were told that you have to do your best, but you have to do everything that is possible and impossible. But they forget to tell them that the amount of this "possible and impossible" is such that there simply may not be enough strength to "do it". What happens when resources run out? A person begins to mope, to be sick, to go out, and sometimes even to fade away. This happens because the supply of energy is limited. And how do you replenish your resources if you simply do not know where your sources of energy are? Of course, without recharging he can at first still "plow" a part of the furrow, but eventually the force runs out anyway, and the man subconsciously searches for his source of joy.
To find joy in everyday life, which gives strength and energy, one must live life, being aware of everything that happens in it. Life is a very deep thing, and the main thing is to try to balance it so as to be in a state of harmony.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to give the coordinates of a place of power suitable for everyone. But it is possible and extremely necessary to find these places for everyone. Not beyond the seven mountains and ten seas, but in everyday life, in the small details of life that bring joy. When a person accustoms himself to notice them, he suddenly begins to understand that he feels good much more often than before when he "skipped" them. The main thing is not to get stuck in the future (I will buy a car and then turn the world upside down) or the past (when I was young I was able to do everything) while searching for strength. We must learn to look at life as a process of connected events, in which there is no separate childhood, old age, and present, and also no insignificant and secondary things. It is important to learn to look at life without throwing anything out of it and remembering that a resource can be anywhere.
The search for a resource should be seen as a journey in which we learn to see everything that happens in life as unappreciated as possible; we learn to notice what is useful and use it to live productively. Then life is filled with pleasures and moments that sustain rather than consume all our energy. It is also important to know that those events that we habitually think of as negative are sometimes our most powerful resource.
Also, while searching for resources, it is important to be able to pay attention to the little-noticed body cues, images and situations that often attract attention. This is so-called flirting (a concept in procedural psychotherapy), which clearly demonstrates that this something that attracts attention (an object, a color, a smell - any signal) is precisely related to the person himself or herself. The task is to understand exactly how and what is behind it. Maybe, for example, you notice people everywhere in a red dress - maybe your resource would be to buy one just like it?🌱
