Botanical Garden named after Nikolai Grishko:

The Mykola Grishko National Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is one of the largest in Europe in terms of scale and diversity of living plants. Its territory is almost 130 hectares and every year it receives about a million visitors😮. The main purpose of the garden is to preserve and study rare and endangered species of local and world flora. One of its main objects is a huge arboretum, which contains a collection of plants brought from different parts of the world. The famous Kontraktova Square is located in the historical center of Kiev - on Podil. In the 16th century, it was called Market Square - at that time there were merchant pavilions with goods on it😌. Museum of Mikhail Bulgakov. From 1906 to 1919, the family of the professor of the Kiev-Mohyla Academy Afanasy Bulgakov (the writer's father) lived in this house. The house also became the center of the plot of his first novel The White Guard and the play Days of the Turbins. The museum houses a unique collection of the writer's personal belongings, including his paintings, diaries and photographs😁.
"The Castle of Richard the Lionheart" - such an unusual name was given to the house number 15 on Andreevsky Descent thanks to the writer Viktor Nekrasov. According to him, in childhood, he and his friends played in the courtyard of this house, built in the British Gothic style, and imagined that in front of them was an old castle from Walter Scott's story "Ivanhoe".
St. Andrew's Church is a striking example of a Baroque building. It was erected in 1747-1762 according to the design of the architect F.B. Rastrelli. The temple is one of the main symbols of the street and the most important architectural monument of Kiev😮.
The sculpture “Chasing Two Hares” is dedicated to the 1961 Soviet film of the same name. It depicts the moment when Svirid Golokhvastov proposes his hand and heart to Pronya Prokopovna. Postal area:

Postal Square is one of the oldest in Kiev. Historians believe that trading settlements appeared here in the 4th century. It is famous for its stunning views of the Dnieper, access to the embankment and the wealth of various attractions☝️. Since 1961, the main port of the capital, the Kiev River Station, began to work here, which later ceased to fulfill its function and only recently opened to visitors as a cultural space🙂. Grechiny, and in 2011 it underwent a large-scale reconstruction.
