We are all used to celebrating this holiday, but almost no one knows where it came from. It is officially accepted that in the USSR, one fine day, textile factory workers took to the streets demanding gender equality and better working conditions and wages. The authorities were forced to admit they were right, and organized the women their own holiday. But March 8 was not always March 8. Many times this holiday was postponed to other days, but, in the end, they approved the eighth of March.

How do you usually congratulate women on their day? Of course, the flowers come first. Then sweets or cakes. Well, and, of course, gifts. Plush toys, especially bears, are very popular. There are many ways to surprise a woman. One of them is this: you do nothing all day, nothing to her questions that you forgot to answer, and in the evening solemnly give her a gift. But you have to be careful and not overdo it, otherwise, as a result, they will be offended by you, and it will be bad. The second option: from the very beginning of the day you congratulate your girlfriend, take her to a cafe or to the cinema, make gifts. But this option requires a rich imagination and preferably a voluminous wallet.

If for some reason you don’t have time to congratulate the woman, send her at least an SMS of congratulatory content. For example, in verses:

Congratulations on the eighth of March,
I wish you happiness, joy.
So that this day is beautiful
No one has ever offended terribly.
Or this verse:
Happy March 8, my dear,
This day is all for you.
And joy, and fun, and sweetness,
Everything, I'm waiting for you at the sea.
