How is infatuation different from love?
id: 10049467

All people living on our planet are united by one common desire: everyone wants to love and be loved. Love can make a person happy, even when living conditions leave much to be desired. But not always the feeling that we take for love turns out to be really deep and durable. Sometimes we do not realize that we feel only love, which is different in that it can disappear like smoke, leaving no trace.
We can say that love and falling in love are fundamentally different from each other, although in many ways these feelings are very similar. Sometimes only over time, having gone through many trials together, withstanding a long separation, people realize that they really love each other. Falling in love is also associated with warm feelings, tenderness and passion, but it does not stand the test of time and distance.
So what is the difference between love and infatuation? It can be described as follows: when you are in love, you are focused only on your pleasure, and love implies that you think first of all about your partner. We can say that falling in love is a more selfish feeling. A loving person accepts his beloved in any mood and state, ready to share with him both joy and sorrow.
