Anyone who honors this celebration acquires faith in salvation, because Christ has been reborn. It is customary to fill the Bright Resurrection with good intentions, many rituals and ancient traditions are interconnected with it. Orthodox Easter is, first of all, the celebration of the rebirth of Jesus Christ, who laid down his own life to serve people and accepted the death of a martyr, atoning for human sins. Victory over death is the main ideological component of this spring holiday.

Traditions and customs for Easter
The Orthodox Slavic peoples had a lot of traditions, including those related to the Easter holiday. Including Maundy Thursday, they prepared for the festive table, painted and painted eggs.

According to long-standing customs, dyed eggs were laid on tender sprouted vegetation of oats or wheat, which was deliberately sprouted for the holiday.

Since Thursday, they have already begun to make Easter eggs, baked Easter eggs, grandmothers, pancakes with the image of small crosses, cockerels, chickens, pigeons, as well as honey cakes.

Easter gingerbread cookies differed from the traditional ones in that they were decorated with images of sheep, hares, cockerels and other animals.
