Since childhood, all of us have been drawing pastries and decorating eggs in kindergartens and schools, and the hostesses have taught the recipe for Easter cakes. After all, the celebration of the end of Great Lent has comfortably taken root in Ukrainian life. According to ancient customs, it is customary to paint krashanka or Easter eggs long before the start of Easter. At the same time, it is worth embroidering towels that will cover baskets with treats. During Passion Week, the hostesses of Ukraine bake pasta, airy with raisins or dried apricots. They are prepared in absolute silence and tranquility, because the state of mind of the hostess will be transferred to the sacred treat. On Good Friday, it is customary to attend church to pray at the Holy Shroud, they do not work on this day and do not use foul language at all. On Easter Saturday, it is customary to confess in order to sit down at the festive table with a pure soul. From Saturday to Sunday, many spend the night in the temple for prayers. And from the very morning, congratulations on the Easter holiday are heard - ā€œChrist is risen!ā€, And the aroma of consecrated apiaries is felt. Now Ukrainians are trying to consecrate as many products as possible. However, traditionally the basket consisted of paska, krashanok, bacon or sausage, honey, wine and salt.
