This bright holiday in memory of the miracle of the resurrection of the Son of God has been celebrated by Christians all over the world for many centuries. For Ukrainians, Easter is the main annual holiday. Its traditions are passed down from generation to generation and many of them are carried out in our time. All the symbols that were important for people in different periods were written on the eggs, which were considered amulets: sun, moon, stars, fire, water, earth. Along with Easter eggs, our ancestors had groves - folk songs calling for spring - an indispensable attribute of the Easter holidays. There are also Easter games in the Easter cycle of holidays. In Western Ukraine, there is a custom of dousing with water on the first Monday after Easter. And you must also dedicate Easter and Easter cakes in the church!
