The Ukrainian Carpathians is a part of the Carpathian mountain system, located in the west of Ukraine, mainly on the territory of Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Transcarpathian and Chernivtsi regions.
The Western Carpathians are located on the territory of Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland and partly Hungary. The Southern Carpathians are located on the territory of Romania and Serbia. Eastern Carpathians - on the territory of Ukraine, Poland and Slovakia.
In the Carpathians there is the highest peak of Ukraine - Mount Hoverla (2061 m).

From hilly mosaic landscapes, foothills with flowering orchards and vineyards to subalpine landscapes are of incredible value and provide shelter for a large number of plants and animals. The populations of the elusive lynx, wolf and bear are unparalleled in Europe. A huge number of plants and animals, shrubs and trees form the basis of these ecosystems. The Carpathians are one of the richest areas in natural and medicinal resources. The nature of the Carpathians is fabulously diverse. There are more than 2000 plant species here.
The Carpathians are a significant source of fresh water and clean air, a powerful water regulating factor on the continent. This is truly the "green heart" of Europe.
On the territory of the Carpathians there are many sources of mineral waters. Tourists come here for rest, treatment and for the general improvement of the body. Particular attention should be paid to the purity and healthfulness of the air, which contains a lot of ozone and with a slight aroma of pine needles.
Bukovel is the largest and most modern ski resort in Ukraine with a developed infrastructure and European level service.
The complex of buildings of the Bukovel resort is located near the village of Palyanitsa (Polyanytsya in Ukrainian) at an altitude of 900 meters above sea level. The Bukovel ski resort was designed by specialists from the Canadian company Ecosign, the company that designed most of the world's ski resorts.
