Way to befriend yourself - creative date
id: 10050290

The practice of creative dates is incredibly simple. All you have to do is ask yourself out on a date. You can take yourself to a place where you have long wanted to go, but there was no one to go with, or visit a movie that you really like while all your friends are busy, even just go to nature and watch the sunset alone. In any case, this is a great practice for self-development and self-knowledge.

What is ultimately meant by such a meeting? You take yourself and spend time with yourself. Two hours a week can be allocated for this without any distractions, cleaning, cooking or postponed household chores. This should be a special time when you disconnect from networks and connect with yourself. You can go to clay modeling, go to the cinema, just walk around the city. In this practice, you can do what has long been postponed. For example, a master class, a conversational English club or a free exhibition of paintings, and also a cafe that you never went to with anyone, but really wanted to.
This practice teaches several things at once. You realize that you're learning to put yourself first in life, even if it's only two hours a week at first. After that, when you get used to it, you notice how much you can do - and that's where inspiration and creativity begin to appear.

The miracle of this practice is that it comes to life. From the two hours allocated even with some effort, you learn to ask yourself desires in everyday life and fulfill them! In summary, I would like to remind you that the Creative Date is a practice that allows you to hear yourself. You need to set aside two hours a week to go on a date with you. Not lying around with a TV series and chips, but going straight to some event that is organized just for you. If it's difficult or out of ideas, start with a theater or take tickets to an exhibition. Look through the list of city events or workshops and go where it seems most interesting. Have fun and don't put limits on yourself.

And in order not to get bored on a creative date, for you a selection of ten ways to spend it that have not yet been mentioned.

• Take a camera, even if it's a soap dish, and go on a photo hunt. Take pictures of anything that pleases or evokes emotions.
• Ride the train or bus to the area to the nearest interesting place. Even if it is an unknown village or body of water, it can be quite interesting there.
• Take a trial sports class, whether it's Pilates, yoga, boxing, dancing or whatever. Tryouts for beginners are often held in the city, you can experience something new.
• Prepare a new dish for yourself. Go to the grocery store, and then bake or cook something just for yourself. You can decorate the result beautifully on a plate and have dinner with you even by candlelight!
• Ride around the city. It is possible by bike, bus or tram. Go to the end and back, look out the window and travel in such a budget way.
• Try watching a lecture on an interesting or unusual topic. Not interested in history? You can start! Have you ever seen how chocolates are made? Open YouTube! As a last resort, you can simply open a phrase book of a language you didn’t know before and try to learn a few phrases or read them, and even more interesting, just start learning a new language.
• Read a book you put aside, watch a saved webinar, do something that has been on your shoulders for a long time, reminds you of yourself, but doesn't fit into your busy schedule. After the deed is done - a surge of strength will not keep you waiting.
• Go to the market, to a hardware or fish store, send yourself to an antique shop or a bridal salon. Go where you haven't been before and just look around. The world is bigger and more interesting than it seems.
• Create your dream date. You probably have some kind of ideal for a date. An expensive restaurant with a panoramic view, a bouquet, a walk around the city or a nightly rendezvous on a boat. Organize a dream date for yourself, and you will notice how the dream will come true and give space for new inspiration.

A creative date is always about you, about self-love and its expression, about the opportunity to be yourself. Spend time with the best person in the world, because in your life it's you.
