When the stereotype is formed, the left hemisphere begins to rest, and the right hemisphere, on the contrary, connects and monitors the mechanical execution of the already formed stereotype. And if everything looks pretty simple with walking and playing the guitar, then with mental work the situation is much more complicated. After all, along with old tasks, new ones constantly appear in it. This leads to the conclusion that people with low working capacity mistakenly believe that without constant control by the left hemisphere, the task will not be completed. In other words, as a normal person gets tired, an adaptation mechanism is connected to the task, which changes the state of the nervous system. If this mechanism does not work properly, the performance of the brain is markedly reduced. Imagine that when you walk, you control every step. Here the body leans forward, you say to yourself "attention, I'm falling." Next, to keep your balance, you continue to think and give the muscles a command to push the opposite leg forward. In this scenario, in the process of walking you will tire extremely quickly, since the left hemisphere will constantly monitor the correct operation of the right. When the system works as it should, the whole process is carried out mechanically. To simplify, when the left hemisphere learns a new activity, a switch in the brain fires, which transfers control of the task to the right hemisphere. You can synchronize the work of the cerebral hemispheres with the help of an unusual exercise, which is based on the Stroop Effect. Its essence is as follows: in the shortest possible period of time you need to match the written word and its color, and then name the color. The perception of color and text is carried out by different parts of the hemispheres. That is why regular practice with this exercise will help you synchronize the work of the hemispheres, learning to quickly switch between them.
