🔸🔸1. Fight depression with physical exercise

Science has long proven why physical exercise is necessary in our daily lives. The study, which is given in the book "The Advantage of Happiness", also confirmed the importance of physical exercise for finding happiness.

In this study, patients with depression were divided into three groups. People from the first group were treated with medications, from the second group with exercises, and the third group was returned to normal life by combining medications with physical exercises.

After six months, patients from all three groups were examined for relapses. And that's what the results were. Of those who took medication alone, 38% relapsed into depression. In the group that was exposed to combination therapy, the percentage of relapses was slightly less — 31%. The best result was shown by the group that was treated with exercise alone: relapses occurred in only 9% of people.

This study clearly shows that exercise is the best way to fight depression.

The benefits of physical exercise are beyond doubt. So why wait? Start training from today. Start small and make a habit of practicing every day.

🔸🔸2.It's stupid to underestimate the importance of a full sleep

We spend about a third of our lives sleeping, so it's silly to underestimate the impact of sleep on our entire life.

The conclusion made as a result of the study sounds like this: people who sleep after lunch are less susceptible to negative emotions and more sensitive to positive ones.

We all know that if we don't get enough sleep or don't sleep well at all, then we have emotional problems. At the same time, a good full-fledged sleep sets us up in a positive way, we are cheerful and feel great.

🔸🔸3. Stop looking at your phone too often and using other gadgets

A study was conducted at Kent State University, during which 500 students were interviewed. The results were as follows: students who often use a mobile phone study worse, they have an increased level of anxiety, and they feel less happy.

Ramani Durvasula, Ph.D., a licensed clinical psychologist and professor of psychology at California State University, believes that people spend too much time on gadgets, not leaving it for simple live communication.

This can also explain the increased level of anxiety. Young people are afraid to miss the news from their virtual friends, so they pick up the gadget again and again. Thus, it is difficult for them to live a normal life of their own.

🔸🔸4. Spend more time with your loved ones

You may have heard of this before.

"I didn't spend enough time with family and friends" — this is what people most often regret on their deathbed. If we spend time with people close to us, if we take care of them, then we become happier ourselves.

🔸🔸5. Take yourself out for a walk as often as possible

Sean Achor, a lecturer at Harvard University and author of the book "The Advantage of Happiness", believes that if you spend at least 20 minutes outside in good weather, you will not only cheer yourself up, but also improve your RAM, and also generate new ideas with greater productivity.

If you are wondering at what temperature people feel happier outside, then you will be surprised when you find out that it is a temperature of 13.9 °C
