What can I say, my last relationship consisted of a sea of expectations, but my expectations did not match his. I burned out, my curiosity went away, the spark did not ignite, and all was lost.

You just had to not expect, communicate and spend time without illusions, not dive headlong into the relationship. In the initial stages:
- when you have just started to communicate with a guy and haven't seen each other yet;
- you were just about to meet in person;
- there were several meetings, you just started to get to know each other;
- you have not met for a long period of time (for example, 4 months).

At this stage, don't expect anything from the man, enjoy the communication, the time spent together, learn everything about him.
It would be better if during this time you lived many situations with him in which he would open up emotionally:
- go on a trip
- live together for a few days
- see what he is like at home
- pay attention to his habits, behavior
- understand how he behaves in a stressful situation

And only then it will be more or less clear what kind of man he is and what to expect from him.
In general, live without expectations, dear girls, and remember:
You can change your attitude. Don't expect anything from men, and if it's good - you'll be pleasantly surprised, if it's bad - you won't get upset.
You'll realize you had a good experience and you'll go on looking for your man.
