Objects are present in the environment, but this is not like in a hot desert, where bright sunlight is refracted in a hot ocean. Over Baikal, a variant is the redistribution of cooled and warm air, which leads to sources of mirage shocks.

And minerals are very far from the lake. The distance can reach kilometers! Yes, scientists were the appearance of the ghosts of Baikal. However, the share of doubt remains unchanged, since some phenomena cannot be explained even from the point of view of science.

But one thing is clear - there are simply excellent conditions for recognizing mirages on Baikal: heated and cool air on summer days, severe frosts and immovable air in the cold. In air streams that differ in scattering, the rays of light are distorted and the incarnation is revealed. A small duck may be seen as a ship, and a person on a bicycle may be seen as a plane coming in to land.

No less beautiful is such a rare atmospheric phenomenon over Baikal as the northern lights. Bright bursts of cold glow can only be seen in Northern Baikal. Sometimes, before sunset, there are vertical colored pillars above the surface of the water, and on a dark night - a rainbow and lightning.
