In my youth, it seemed to me that a strong person is someone who knows how to restrain himself, act with a cold head, who may not experience "harmful" emotions: sadness, fear, jealousy, disgust, anger. In general, it cuts off its sensual sphere when there is a need for it. In addition, this pattern of behavior is often encouraged in society. Many people live with the conviction that it is shameful to show their emotions.
Life experience and years convinced me otherwise: emotions are not weakness, but strength. If, of course, they are treated correctly: not to suppress, but to give them the right to be, to live them.
Do you remember how it was as a child? Emotions and feelings were turned on to the fullest, joy seemed off scale, grief - inconsolable. So many important things existed in life: the weather, the bike, the best friend, the lizards in the grass, the apples in the tree. Most people lived life most fully in childhood, felt emotions, rejoiced every day.
I am very emotional person. When I want to cry - I pay. When to laugh - I laugh.
Thanks to emotions we express own self and we become more clear to other people.
