CASTLES OF IVANO-FRANKOV REGION
The main attention in the Ivano-Frankivsk region should be given to the Galician castle in the city of Galich.
The Galician castle stands on the top of the Galich-mountain. More precisely, the ruins of a defensive wall and a tower remained from the former majestic fortress on the right bank of the Dniester. Now the Galician Castle (also called Starostinsky) is part of the Ancient Galich National Reserve.🏰
