Age: How much does it really matter?
id: 116756
I get many many letters from many beautiful ladies.Thank you all.It is however very surprising to get so many letters from women so much younger than me.I am 54 and though most people say I look much younger, it is still surprising to get a letter expressing interest from any woman in her early 20s and younger! Now there may be some cultural difference that I am unaware of here,if so someone please let me know.I would appreciate it. Here in the west, the U.S. it is not very common for there to be such a vast age difference. Though it does seem to happen more often then one might think. Many people say age is just a number. For the most part I would agree. However with age comes maturity and wisdom. We learn things as we get older that can only be learned through time.Through trial and error, and hopefully some successes. For me this wisdom is very important. It is also important for my future spouse. There is a saying probably known throughout the world in one form or another. It says "Beauty is only skin deep". I have found this to be very true. The beauty that I seek comes from within.Sometimes it takes quite a long time for people (men and women) to develop that inner beauty. This is where the age factor comes in. With time and of course age comes wisdom, this wisdom helps to form the whole person making the inner beauty shine as brightly or in many cases more brightly than the outer beauty. It is with such a woman that I feel most comfortable. As I said earlier this may be some kind of cultural thing.Any feed back would be appreciated. My next blog will cover Ego: How it can help us and hurt us in our relationships. Sincerely Jim
