1✅ Place of judgment
Many doubt not only the existence of such a person as Jesus Christ, but also the reality of the judge Pontius Pilate who condemned him, since there is no mention of him in any ancient chronicle - all mentions of the procurator of Judea are already associated with the era of Christianity. But, nevertheless, this historical character really existed. In 1961, during excavations in the city of Caesarea (modern Palestine), scientists discovered a limestone slab with an inscription in Latin: "Pontius Pilate, prefect of Judea, introduces Tiberius to the Caesareans."
2 ✅Walls of Jericho
The city of Jericho, whose walls fell to the sound of the trumpets of the Jews who came to Canaan after forty years of wandering in the wilderness, also remained for a long time only a story on paper. However, when archaeological excavations began in the area of the Palestinian village of Eriha, located on the banks of the Jordan River, a group of German archaeologists discovered the remains of an ancient city that existed back in the 2nd millennium BC - that same Jericho, and along with them found the ruins of the fortress walls 13- 14th century BC, the very ones that the Jews destroyed with the sound of trumpets. Scientists noted an unusual fact - Jericho was one of the first walled cities in history, since for those times their construction was atypical.
3 ✅Capernaum - the place of the first sermon
The first apostles of Jesus, the fishermen brothers Andrew and Peter, also lived in this city. Both the first and second statements have a lot of evidence thanks to modern archeology.
For example, masonry of an ancient building built at the turn of the era was found under the walls of the White Synagogue, while the synagogue itself was built even earlier - in the 4th century BC. It is assumed that Jesus read the first sermons here. Also found in Capernaum is a house that probably belonged to Peter and served as a place of Christian meetings in the first century.
4 ✅King David's Palace
Like many biblical stories, the existence of the legendary King David - the founder of a unified Jewish state - has long been questioned, because the only source where anything was mentioned about him was, in fact, only the Bible. But during the excavations of the ancient city of Dan in the 90s, a basalt slab was discovered, dated to the 9th-8th century BC, on which the dynasties of the kings of the “House of David” are mentioned.
Another excavation in the city of Khirbet-Kiafa also proves the existence of the legendary king. Scientists have excavated a large city and found the ruins of two buildings - presumably the palace of King David and utility rooms next to it. It is assumed that this particular city is the settlement of Shaaraim, and this proves that during the time of King David in the territory of Palestine there was a single Jewish state.
