It's that moment when you think, well, how come. I love doing this and that. Why don't I want to? You have to want to, if you like it!
But even doing what you like takes strength.
What to do? Of course, you're going to tell me to take a break. I know, I'm not stupid. But rest is also a concept extensible. Try saying "go get some rest" to a man who is killing himself 24/7 and watch his reaction. You'll get the perfect cat from the "what do you do in your spare time" meme.
So I talked to myself, and made my own little mental and physical recovery list.
1. Caring. Yes, I'm a small social animal, and I really (VERY) care about the moral and physical support of my environment. You can't even imagine how much energy any kind word, and even more so - any kind deed, any help and any show of care charges me. So if you want to support me somehow - don't hold back 😅
2. Lots and lots of fresh air. That's why it's especially hard to burn out in the heat (pun intended). A walk in the street, or better yet a park, or better yet a forest will give me much more energy than lying at home on the couch. Or lying on the couch, but in the fresh air. Though if I lie down in the middle of the street...
3. music. Music. And music again. Sometimes I think that's what will lift me out of the coffin. No matter how bad I feel, when I hear cool, inspiring rhythms... my body gets up and carries me somewhere.
4. Dolce Farniente. This, as you can imagine, is the hardest part. Especially for me, an extremely anxious nature. While without a special environment around it is very difficult to force myself to do nothing, not to think about work, business, problems ... but I'm learning. From Darcy, for example.
All in all, my ideal vacation format is to sit in the woods by the lake, in warm and cozy company, with soulful conversations and cool music.
Now all that's left is the hard part. All of this to fully allow myself ❤️
