Olesko Castle, like most medieval fortresses, stands on a hill, thanks to this, it can be seen even from the highway when you drive in the direction of the village of Olesko. You can leave the car near the church and from here you can walk to the castle.
There are souvenir shops on the right side of the road, and on the left there is a small house that sells tickets to the castle museum.
The path runs along a rocky road, and here, on the way, travelers are met by stone statues, not far from which there is a cafe where you can have a good lunch of Ukrainian cuisine. After refreshing yourself in a cafe, take a walk through the park with stone sculptures, take a few photos as a keepsake and go further to the territory of the castle complex.
The main entrance to the Olesko Castle is unremarkable, the main interesting things await inside the fortress.

In the inner chambers of the castle there is now a museum, which contains a large collection of things representing, without exaggeration, cultural and historical heritage. Eleven halls contain works of painting, sculpture, household items and applied art. The collected items are dated to the period of the XIV-XVII centuries.
The palace interior of the 17th century is recreated on the second floor of the museum. The room is decorated with furniture and household items typical of that time, here you can see: exquisite tapestries, antique furniture and an oven made according to old models.
