Today I thought about the fact that you don't need much to be happy!

I used to set a very high bar for myself. My goal was success, career, business, branded items, slim body, perfect family, housing, car, etc. And I tried!
She tried with all her might to conquer the world! And I caught myself thinking that I so rarely look at the sky. You know, so with delight, looking at the whimsical drawings of clouds, as in childhood. And life passes. Day by day, step by step. And you run, in pursuit of success...
And then it touched me! And whose wish is this? Who should I try SO hard for? Who told me that?! Children? No! She needs my presence and involvement in her life. To me? I don't really need that much, at least not at this price!
It's fashionable to be successful. Everyone wants to be friends with successful and wealthy people, everyone loves them... Love? Exactly? Are you kidding me???!
Who likes girlfriends who are better than you?! You have to grow up to them, strain yourself. They envy, use, but few people love. No, they don't like it! They even quietly hate it!
And, for happiness, you simply need to feel happiness and pleasure. With the body that you have now, with the income, with the environment and the geographical position that you have right now!
And if everything is okay with your health and that of your loved ones, if you don't live on the street and have your daily bread, then you are, a priori, a happy person.
Here the question is different, do you value what you have or devalue it.
Human capabilities are limitless, you can achieve any goal, but at what cost?
Life time is precious and short. It is important to have time to enjoy simple moments of happiness. The most valuable! The sweetest! Such as the smile of a loved one, or the starry sky overhead, the pungent smell of mowed grass, or a sweet watermelon in the heat.
Happiness, enjoying your favorite thing, enjoying the aroma of coffee that someone close to you treated you to, or just dreaming in silence. Sometimes it's good to get some sleep.
Look for happiness in this very moment! Do you feel it here and now? What makes you a happy person now?
