The people of Sokyryn became the property of Hnat Galahan during the hetmanship of Ivan Skoropadskyi. And all subsequent generations of the family took care of this village. Almost a hundred years later, in the 1820s, a palace and park complex was built in Sokyryntsy, which has survived to this day.
The two-story palace built in the Empire style has 60 enfilade rooms. To this day, the palace has been preserved in a very good condition, because since 1920 it housed an agronomic school. Therefore, the palace was never left without care.
A long alley leads to the main entrance of the palace and visitors can admire the magnificent architecture from afar.
But the most beautiful view opens from the other side, because a wide ramp was built there, which brought the guests of the palace from the park directly to the second floor to the main hall. The ramp is decorated with figures of two ancient goddesses
An English landscape park spread out behind the palace. An obligatory part of the park was a pond dug in the course of the small river Utka. And park architecture was hidden in the park itself: gazebos, bridges, a church and a chapel. Unfortunately, only the gazebo and the Gothic bridge have survived today.
