The Arab house was built and equipped with the latest technology - heating was carried out in the house, and the floors were connected by an elevator. Also, the architect Alyoshin depicted on the facade of the mansion a cat's muzzle with such mustaches that he himself wore. On the ground floor there is a mirror hall, a hall, a library and a billiard room. The second floor is the bedrooms of the members of the Kovalevsky family. The tower housed the orchestra's rehearsal room. The architect, at the request of the owner himself, arranged an unusual room on the ground floor, stylized as a train compartment. Nikolai Kovalevsky met his wife on the train, so they decided to make such a room in the family nest. However, the Kovalevsky family could not enjoy life in such a luxurious house - in 1919 they emigrated, and it is not known how their life developed abroad. Previously, the house housed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, now the house is subordinate to the Administration of the President of Ukraine.
