Happiness is such a short word, but it carries such a deep meaning. Happiness is such an imperceptible feeling that you don’t always know if you have it at the moment. Happiness is such an inanimate object that you cannot even touch it, feel its touch on yourself. But be that as it may, everyone strives to comprehend it, everyone wants to have it. There is no exact definition of it, because happiness is different for everyone, no matter how trite it may sound.


Some will say that happiness is in money, in wealth; others will say in the health of their relatives and in their own; others will say that happiness is in success, fame, universal recognition; and the dreamers will answer, in love, when you love and you are loved in return. No matter what they say, everything will always be in its own way. Let's try to break down each look at the answer about happiness, but from my point of view. No, in no case do I want to impose my opinion on you, I just want you to understand to what happiness I want to lead you along my path.

Happiness in health. Yes, it is, in a way. It is much better to see everyone cheerful, full of strength and fun people. When your whole family, friends, relatives, loved ones, and whoever they are, feel great, they are not bothered by illness, life becomes easier. But after all, it doesn’t happen that no one ever gets sick, everyone will sometime experience health problems, and what happens, all the illness came and happiness immediately left? So?

Happiness in money. Of course, it is much more pleasant not to have a need for money. But money is just pieces of paper that exist today and not tomorrow. Yes, with them a person feels more confident and reliable, but what will he do when they run out? You don’t need to tell me that they won’t end, because it happens that everything is fine now, business is in full swing and money is dripping from the sky, but it happens that everything that you built collapsed, you have debts, loans. So, just like with health, money ran out and happiness ended?

Happiness in glory, success, national fame. For some it is. Here you are young, hot, popular, they take autographs from you, take pictures with you, recognize you on the streets, you have already made enough money to ensure a “happy life” for yourself, everything sounds so exciting doesn't it? But here's the catch. Do you have friends who will be with you without all this pathos to the end? When you don’t know who you can trust for real, and who is with you only because of money and decent connections. Today you are a star, and then someone who is better than you will come. Yes, you still have everything that you have acquired, but will all this bring you happiness when you sit and sadly remember what peaks you reached and how you were so quickly forgotten because of another person? And now the same question, success is gone, fame is gone and that's it, no happiness?


Happiness in the family. Of course, every person is glad to have a friendly and loving family. When the whole family goes to nature to barbecue and play football together, what could be better? Support, support and care comes from a warm family hearth - wonderful. But here, too, there is a catch. As already mentioned, not everyone is immortal, accidents, illnesses never go far. Not to mention the fact that not all families are complete, or some don’t have it at all, or it’s not so comfortable in it, constant quarrels, screams, and violence is also possible. Will there be happiness here?

Happiness in love. Yes, there are those who say so. When there is a person who replaces everything in the world for you; the person you need like air; a person without whom you lose interest in what is happening around you - life becomes better. Love inspires people, gives them hope for salvation from their boring life, and yes, we can say that everyone becomes happy from love. But here, too, it is not as clean as it would seem.
You breathe each other, live for each other, and it seems fine, but it happens that you see a person from the other side, he does something terrible, after which your ideas about him collapse and you see him as he is, and love disappears, taking with him the happiness that brought. No love and no happiness?

You can give an infinite number of examples about “what is happiness?” Happiness is a complex of all kinds of wonderful moments of life, a complex of all unforgettable feelings; complex of things, people that surround us. Why can't happiness be one thing? Asking a person, “what is happiness for him?”, we will not get an exact answer. Nobody knows what it is and how to achieve it. You can’t just pick it up and pull it out of the drawer like a long-forgotten thing. Happiness is built with us, it is inside us from beginning to end, it grows in the same way as we do. Life is one continuous happiness.

No matter how bad, difficult, terrible it is, the main thing is that it exists! Whether you are an ordinary person three times in a square or, on the contrary, a star, you deserve happiness just as you deserve the life that is given to you. As long as you live, you have every chance of being happy; there are chances to improve your life; there are chances to achieve all your plans, goals, fulfill your dreams. Happiness is as short a moment as life. Why should we chase after what we can’t catch, losing to it the very thing that we are trying to catch? Answer this question for yourself, and you will understand that one short word like “happiness” is equal to the same short word as “life”.
