My dream is to celebrate Christmas abroad this year. You may ask why? Because this holiday should be peaceful with peace in heart and calm soul, but my country is at war now. In Ukraine I will not be able to find peace and tranquility on this bright holiday, so I want to leave it. And still have the opportunity to spend this biggest holiday of the year as it should be.
After all, Christmas is a special holiday. According to the biblical legend, on this day Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was born, who was sent to humanity for salvation. Since then, history has been divided into "before" and "after": since the birth of the Savior, modern chronology - our era - has been conducted.
Catholic Christmas is a warm, family, good holiday. You need to prepare for this day in advance. Decorating the house, dressing the Christmas tree - these activities unite the family, create such a necessary and invaluable festive atmosphere. Unlike the noisy New Year, Christmas is an intimate holiday that must be spent with loved ones. I want my heart to be filled with comfort and warmth.
I want to open the windows and feel the festive atmosphere like in my childhood. I want to make a wish: this night the universe is filled with such strong energy that even the most unrealistic dream can come true.
I know that there is a wonderful tradition of giving each other gifts for Christmas, but in my country there is no such tradition. Children will be delighted to know that Santa came to them at night. And I will be pleased to return to my childhood for a second and believe in a miracle. I want to finally feel the atmosphere of a winter fairy tale, which is already knocking on the door.
