Christmas for Ukrainians is one of the most beloved holidays, because it is an opportunity to relax, spend time with family and enjoy delicious dishes. This year, every holiday is special. When do Ukrainians celebrate Christmas? The answer to this question interests many Ukrainians. There is no single answer, so you can decide for yourself on the date. Historically, there has been a tradition to celebrate a holiday according to the Julian calendar - January 7th. In addition to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Greek Catholic, believers of the Georgian, Armenian, Serbian and Jerusalem churches celebrate in January. The Catholic Church celebrates the birth of the son of God on December 25th.
