On Christmas Eve and the next day, carolers go from house to house, with the permission of the owners, to sing songs and receive rewards. The tradition of the nativity scene is still preserved in Ukrainian cities and villages. A puppet or costume theater performance is a favorite Christmas custom. Believers can immerse themselves in a special atmosphere by dressing up as religious characters. Fortune telling at Christmas is not one century old. They learned about their future through candles, wax, milk, jewelry and hair. In general, fortune-telling was a popular winter entertainment, because fortune-telling was performed on various holidays up to the Epiphany of the Lord.
