And one more secret I will tell you: there is nothing worse than a polite smile on the first date. Think about it, what can it say to your chosen one? Personally, I see something like this interpretation: "Well, it's nice that you came, of course, but I'm so polite, and that's why I'm smiling at you so politely. I'm sure you like me already, because I'm so polite."

Also, as long as he's talking, you can look him in the eye with a long gaze, putting any feeling you want into it. Your look can be alluring, thoughtful, cryptic or mischievous, intriguing, with fire! But most importantly - it must be open and friendly. For me personally, the latter option was enough.
