The "Warrior of Light" costume symbolizes the struggle of Ukrainians against darkness and protects, like the militant Archangel Michael, who defends Ukraine with a sword.
The look consists of a black jumpsuit, embroidered with gold details, which symbolizes armor, and a white dress with puffy sleeves, like a vyshyvanka, which used more than 10 meters of fabric. The outfit is complemented by huge wings in blue and gold armor depicting the national ornament. And the head is decorated with a beautiful nimbus with ears of wheat traditional for Ukraine.

In addition, for this year's appearance in swimsuits, the organizers of the "Miss Universe" contest provided each participant with a white canvas on which they could depict their own story. The Ukrainian came out wearing a cape with the inscription "Be brave like Ukraine". As the organizers of "Miss Ukraine Universe" noted, the central element of the picture is Victoria Apanasenko herself in the image of a girl-bird, which symbolizes our country. "The girl's look is bold and courageous, and, despite the wound on her wings, the heroine of the picture continues to fly and fight. Just like all Ukrainians today." — It is characteristic that this element of the image of the Ukrainian beauty was created during long cold evenings by candlelight, in blackout conditions, air alarms and shelling.

There was also another outfit - a dress.
The black color of the dress is a symbol of the dark times that our country is going through. A symbol of pain, losses, ruined destinies. The tragedy of war and all the destruction it brings to humanity. Black is the color of mourning, it shows the price of our freedom. But it also describes strength and inner determination. A reminder that the darkest hour is before dawn.
