My city is the heart of Ukraine, the soul of Ukraine, the historical cradle of my people. My city is the capital, Kyiv, beautiful and majestic. Through the centuries he went through wars, pogroms, robberies, destruction, through the centuries he rose up on the slopes of the Dnieper, courageous and immortal.
In my opinion, every city has its own character. Here Kyiv is bold. It proudly bears the status of the capital of Ukraine for the third millennium, proud of its chestnuts, history, people and opportunities. Kyiv is respectable. Kievan Rus was born here, our greatest princes grew up here and hetmans ruled here. Here our history was created and our culture was concentrated, it was here that our kinship with Europe was born. Representatives of the largest world powers sought to get here, trade, art, and education were rapidly developing here. People from all over the world rushed here to get closer to history, to touch science, to know life.
I fall in love with this city more and more every day and I advise everyone to visit it at least once in their life!
