I believe that cooking at home is not only cost-effective but also allows us to control the quality of ingredients and the nutritional value of our food. I try to use fresh and whole ingredients as much as possible and minimize processed foods. I also enjoy experimenting with different cuisines and flavors, and I will share some of my favorite recipes from around the world.
One of my go-to meals is a simple and comforting bowl of pasta with homemade sauce. I like to sauté garlic and onions in olive oil and add crushed tomatoes, a splash of red wine, and some herbs for flavor. I also like to add some vegetables, like spinach or bell peppers, for added nutrition.
Another favorite of mine is a homemade stir-fry. I like to use a variety of vegetables, such as broccoli, bell peppers, and carrots, and protein like chicken or tofu. I marinate the protein in a mixture of soy sauce, rice vinegar, and ginger before stir-frying. I also like to add a sprinkle of sesame seeds and green onions for added flavor.
I also enjoy baking, and I'll share some of my favorite desserts on the blog. One of my go-to desserts is a simple and delicious chocolate chip cookie. I like to use whole wheat flour and add some oats for added texture and nutrition.
