Every day, according to custom, was intended for different ceremonies: Monday - the meeting of Maslenitsa, Tuesday - "flirting" - parents wooed children before Lent, on Wednesday they went to visit their mother-in-law, on Thursday - they finished all the housework and devoted time to entertainment, on Friday - guests again: the mother-in-law went to her son-in-law, on Saturday they also spent the day with relatives, inviting the husband's family to visit, and on Sunday they saw off the winter and said goodbye to Maslenitsa.
