The first International Women's Day was in the United States, where women demanded better working conditions and equal pay. The idea quickly gained popularity, and this kind of protest has become popular worldwide. A bit later, it has become famous among Ukrainian women, too!

Since then, International Women's Day has become a global movement! Some women wanted to show their power or success in their careers. Ukrainian women wanted to show how feminine, deserving, and nice they are!

Each year, the day is celebrated in a special way in Ukraine. As a kid, I remember that my dad was bringing a bouquet for my mom and the smaller one for me. He also could cook something for breakfast and read poems to us. That's how he showed his appreciation to us!

And now, I just go to a restaurant with other ladies and we have a great dinner. When I find a man, it will be a day of romance and love for us!
