Not your average everyday life!

This story happened to me when I was little.
At that time I lived in the countryside with my grandmother,
I helped my grandmother with her chores, I remember we had a small garden
we grew vegetables for ourselves, we also had some animals, and I really
I really liked living with my grandmother!
And then one day, I was just playing in the yard outside the house with our dog,
and it was a small dog, not a pedigree dog, and I saw it
and I saw her get scared and start hiding. The chickens also started acting weird.
and we had a big garden behind our house and we had a chain-link fence, and just in the blink of an eye.
something really big just crashed into the netting at speed, and I remember how scared I was.
I sat down, covered my head with my hands, and I was just afraid to even breathe!
My grandmother ran out and started to take me inside, I didn't know what it was because I wasn't even
I didn't know what it was because I wasn't even looking and I was really scared.
I was already in the house and I heard my grandmother talking to someone on the phone and asking them to come over.
And then I look over to where it happened and I realize it's a bird,
a very large bird.
I went outside and of course my grandmother wouldn't let me go near it.
And then I realized that it had a wing, and then I realized it was a huge hawk,
and it was very aggressive, and it turned out that my grandmother had talked to a new vet, and he soon
came with his assistant. They put some kind of gloves on, I guess so he wouldn't bite it,
he didn't want to let them near him, but he couldn't fly away because he was shot, as I found out later!
Somehow they tied up his beak, and I watched it all and realized that when he realized
that they wanted to help him, he stopped being aggressive, he threw his head back and let the
the vet do what he had to do to make him feel better!
So they did everything, they rewound him, and the vet tells his grandmother to lock him up
in an aviary with us because he doesn't have a place to keep him. And we had a big cage from our dog who died.
Grandma agreed!
He was scared of course, we let him eat meat and mice that got caught in mousetraps.
It's a long story, but if I speed it up, he stayed with us for almost 5 months
the whole winter, and there was even a time when he was just walking around as a pet and playing with our dog
He really liked to be petted.
And then the sim passed, spring came, and just at one point he flew away!
He just flew away and we didn't know what happened to him, I was hoping he would come!
But he was not, I even remember crying.
And then winter came again, and who would have thought that we once woke up and saw our hawk playing with the dog.
I can't tell you how cute it was, and how much I loved him!
He was with us again until spring and then two winters after that when he was with us.
Then my grandmother got sick and I lost her, and you know, winter came and he didn't come.
After that winter, I went to the city to live and I still don't know what happened to him.
But that is the kind of story that proves to me that no matter how mean and wild you are, people around you can change us!
So much time has passed and I still remember this story as if it were yesterday!
