Replace the word "should" with the word "want". If you tell yourself that you should or that you need to do something, it will be harder for you to get started. Rather, reread your list of goals and remind yourself why you want to exercise.

If you only have one pair of gym shorts or one pair of yoga leggings, chances are you'll start skipping workouts just because you haven't had time to wash your clothes. Buy some nice sportswear that you really like. You will have a reason to play sports, if only because you can wear them.

Reward yourself for working out or reaching a new goal. Think about what will motivate you when your workout gets tough or when you don't want to get off the couch.

Find a training partner if you would like someone to control you. Some people like to exercise alone, but the company of a friend can help you stick to your plan. You can work out together or just talk about workouts and goals at the end of each day.

Make a playlist that will motivate you to move. Music at a tempo of 125 to 140 beats per minute is most suitable for sports. Pick up fast music with a pronounced rhythm and play sports to it.
